The monster of smoke and fire won’t leave me alone as it corners me in the Halls of Oppression. Can I manage to outrun and outsmart it?
Picking up where part 14 left off, I once again try my hand at confronting the smoke monster. I need to know what makes it tick. Why is it chasing me? Is it really attracted to fire as the game warns me to “be careful with fire”? When all else fails, I must put my athleticism to good use and sprint as fast as I can.
Just when I thought it was safe to breathe, the path leads to the Halls of Oppression where the smoke monster awaits my arrival. I soon learn that the monster is patrolling the area. Is this its home? Its lair? I must be trespassing. What will it take the escape capture and death?
If I’m able to complete this forward vector of Motion Detected, a campsite and save shrine will be a nice sigh of relief. Though I have a feeling the oppression within these halls is just getting started.
