A huge windmill prominently rests on an enormous hill that looks like something out of Lord of the Rings!
The etching on the stone plaques indicate that those who unlock the secret to power the mill will be able to drain the lakes of acid, most likely referring the the acid lakes within the caves. The task: locate four idols scattered about the island, the ascend up the mountain of madness to The Mill. The journey will be known as the Heights of Oscillation.
But before heading up, I feel the need to search for items down below. I’m able to spot tower parts from above, so naturally I made my way down into the water to locate them. I also stumble upon some fan photos as well. But it wasn’t a well thought out plan as I am short on supplies. I’ve used my last water bottle and the closest campsite is high up the mountain.
Sadly, we hear from the Prolus command and learn that they only have a 2-month supply of fuel left, perhaps orbit in space somewhere close by. Their satellite indicates that I’m the only remaining survivor of all five Solus ships. It is now all up to me for the mission to succeed.
While down below, I encounter almost every type of weather from a hail storm to a tornado to a meteor shower. Though I must say, the Mill looks beautiful when lit by a thunderous sky or meteors racing by. With so many places to explore and supplies hard to come by, I need to find my way back up the mountain as soon as possible.
