Continuing along the Spot of Forbidden Steps, it takes many attempts before I’m finally able to unlock the gate in the wall. Though not clean, it’ll work for you risk takers out there. However as luck would have it, my save file didn’t complete and so it gave me another opportunity to unlock the gate in the way it was most likely meant to be done. Much safer and cleaner. What’s one thing I have that no humanoid would have? A teleport device!

Once beyond the gate and beyond the wall, the severe weather picks up right away with torrents of rain and lightning. A tall pillar with etchings of the alien language will shoot a green laser to another spot on the island once I set the right code. Luckily, the answer isn’t hard to find. But it’s the planet itself that seems to be after my life. I must not forget about the volcanic vents and powerful lightning.

I’m reminded that I’m not alone on this island when the Sky Ones interrupt a peaceful moment to inform me of their message “We Won’t Take You…”. Later, Prolus command checks in hoping I can provide them with an update. The situation for humanity is dire. On a few days of supplies remain. They need to know if Gliese 6143-C is a suitable planet for mankind to continue. I continue to collect tower parts scattered about the island. I need to get that comm tower working, ASAP!
