A giant wall protects The Sky One’s fortress in a volatile area of the planet as I encounter triple tornadoes and volcanic vents before I even reach the main gates!
With the full game of The Solus Project now available, the journey continues as I have arisen from the frigid tundra in the Path of Ice. Welcome to the Spot of Forbidden Steps. Quite the opposite on the surface, just being in this new area can be see as a life-threatening risk for those unprepared. Weather anomalies have been cranked up as I encounter not just one tornado, but THREE TORNADOES at once! And they’re headed straight for the my only shelter other than the massive building in front of me.
Speaking of which, after exploring to find another tower part and collecting the Relic of Life, the sole survivor of the humanoids etched his final words into the side of a rock asking the very questions I want to know the answers to. What was the Sky One’s plan? Why ask for so much and give so little in return? Why turn sour against the humanoid race? Perhaps there is only one way to find out. I’ll have to enter the palace myself.
But the Sky One’s have their fortress cleverly guarded. More security eye-robots keep tabs on my as I stroll up to the steps. Inside: pits of lava and flames. And a collection of gates. I soon am under the impression that I need to press three buttons within a set time period in order to gain entry to the castle. But the buttons are not close to each other and time is short. I must devise a strategy.
